In April of 1995, Brian Reetz started Pine River Automotive in Alma, Michigan after 10 years with the Meridian Auto Parts Group in the Lansing area. Growing up in the business, it felt like a natural fit for Brian, after his family owned a tire dealership as he grew up. Brian built a career for the next 27 years in Alma by bringing customer service to the forefront of everything they do, and always treating customers honestly and fairly.
Pine River Automotive has been an Auto Value Parts Store for all 27 years of their strong history, and they chose Auto-Wares to be their aftermarket auto parts distributor for the entire journey. Incredible relationships and friendships have been the foundation of such an incredible partnership over the years. Brian has been a dedicated member of the aftermarket community including many industry weeks, tech expos, advisory councils, and heavy involvement in MAPA, including being elected chairman in 2012.
On December 1st, Pine River Automotive joined forces with Auto-Wares Group of Companies becoming Auto Value Alma. This change will not disrupt business for the customers in that area, and the staff will be remaining the same, with one adjustment. Brian will be retiring at the end of December, and enjoy spending some well-earned family time.
