Auto-Wares Hosts Annual Golf Outings – Fun and Fundraising on the Fairway

In July, Auto-Wares Group of Companies proudly hosted its annual golf outings, bringing together team members, supplier partners, and industry friends for two incredible days of golf, connection, and charitable giving.

Lake Geneva, WI – Hawk’s View Golf Club | July 10

The first stop in our golf outing series was the 9th Annual Golf Outing held at Hawk’s View Golf Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. With 150 attendees, the day was packed with sunshine, friendly competition, and great company. From lunch and 18 holes of golf to dinner and drinks, the outing was a fantastic way to strengthen relationships and celebrate the Auto-Wares community.

Bath, MI – Hawk Hollow Golf Club | July 15

Just a few days later, the second outing took place on July 15 at Hawk Hollow Golf Club in Bath, Michigan. This event brought together 160 attendees for another great day of golf, food, drinks, and networking. As always, the course was lively with laughter, friendly rivalry, and the shared spirit of giving back.

Two special charity holes added a fun twist to the game while raising money for meaningful causes:

  • AACF “Good Luck / Bad Luck” Hole – Each group had the choice to play the “bad” card or make a donation to play the “good” card before teeing off. This creative setup raised an impressive $2,190 for the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF).
  • St. Jude Charity Hole – To participate, players made a donation for the opportunity to stick their shot on the green and earn a chance to win $500. This fun and impactful challenge raised $5,385 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—and thanks to a generous match from TerrePower, the total donation doubled to $10,770!

Both golf outings were a true reflection of what Auto-Wares stands for—teamwork, partnership, and community. A huge thank-you goes out to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of these events. We can’t wait to see you on the green again next year!

Supporting the AACF – A Cause Close to Our Industry

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has supported members of the automotive aftermarket industry since 1959. Their mission is to provide financial support to industry professionals and their families during times of hardship caused by illness, injury, natural disasters, or death. Contributions like those raised at our golf outings go directly to help those in need within our industry. Learn more at aftermarketcharity.org.
