Nourishing the Community

At Auto-Wares, we believe in the power of community and the impact that a helping hand can have on those in need. For the past 14 years, Steve H., Loss Prevention Manager at Auto-Wares Group of Companies has made it a tradition to identify families facing challenges and provide them with a comforting Thanksgiving meal. This initiative has become more than just an annual event; it’s a testament to our commitment to being a human-centered organization, not just another corporate entity.

Steve’s approach to selecting families in need is personal and heartfelt. “We invite families to write to us, sharing their stories and explaining why they could use some support during the holiday season. This careful consideration ensures that our assistance reaches those who truly need it, aligning with our core belief that Auto Value is not just a corporate store but a compassionate member of the community” said Steve.

Each year, we extend an invitation to our dedicated staff to participate in these events. Natasha S., a Recutier for Auto-Wares, wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to coordinate the Thanksgiving deliveries. Her passion for helping both our staff and the community exemplifies the spirit that drives our charitable initiatives.

Beyond Thanksgiving, we’re involved in various other community projects, including providing school backpacks and Christmas presents for children. These initiatives are a reflection of our understanding that community support extends beyond the holiday season, and we strive to make a positive impact year-round.

Steve said “I to emphasize that our community involvement is made possible by the support and encouragement of our company. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of the communities we serve. As we look to the future, we remain committed to finding innovative ways to support those in need and to foster a sense of unity within the Auto-Wares family.”
