Auto-Wares Group of Companies proudly announces the successful conclusion of its highly anticipated Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper Tech Expo held on February 9 & 10, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the DeVos Place & Amway Grand Plaza. This year’s event shattered previous attendance records, with an impressive 3,107 registrants comprising service technicians, parts store owners, and other automotive aftermarket professionals.
The highlight of Tech Expo was the dynamic Kick-Off Meeting, on Friday afternoon, which drew nearly 600 attendees. The event featured esteemed guests from the Auto Care Association, MEMA, and the renowned NASCAR Driver, William Byron. The Trade Show, a cornerstone of the event, doubled in size compared to previous years. More than 150 suppliers participated, offering attendees valuable insights into new products, brands, and promotional opportunities. Over $37,000 in prizes were distributed throughout the event, providing attendees with exciting incentives and rewards.
In addition to the expanded trade show, Tech Expo featured an extensive class schedule, with over 80 classes offered. Topics ranged from in-depth product exploration to business management, technical training, and diagnostic tips, catering to the diverse needs of attendees. Women In Auto Care orchestrated a panel discussion that drew the participation of both men and women Saturday morning.
The event’s festivities culminated with a thrilling Casino Night, which drew an impressive crowd of over 500 attendees. Guests enjoyed a night of mock gambling, music, food, drinks, and exciting prize giveaways.
The Young Auto Care Network Group, better known as YANG, prefaced the event with a regional meet-up at the nearby New Holland Brewing Thursday before Tech Expo began. The Dorman and Auto-Wares-sponsored event included food, drinks, and an opportunity for automotive professionals under 40, to network with aftermarket peers and develop industry mentors.
