Throughout May, Auto-Wares Group of Companies held a charity Stick-Up campaign to support Hunt 2 Heal, a local West Michigan charity.
Hunt 2 Heal is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide accessible, safe and comfortable outdoor experiences to people with physical disabilities to improve mental health. Hunt 2 Heal features a barrier-free lodge and 640 acres of accessible land to provide an outdoor haven for hunting and other outdoor activities that removes many of the barriers to reconnect with nature.
This year, Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper held their second annual Hunt 2 Heal Stick-Up campaign, where over $3,580 was raised for the organization. Customers were encouraged by our Counter Professionals, to donate $1 or more to Hunt 2 Heal and in return, they were provided with the Stick-Up, which they could write their name on and hang up in our stores alongside other donators. There were also two coupons the donator took home with them. One of the coupons was for 15% off your next in-store purchase at any of our participating locations. The second coupon was for use in our participating Certified Service Center locations and provided $15 off a service of $75 or more.
Among the top earners for the promotion came Angie out of the Auto Value Jackson store on Michigan Street. When we asked Angie what made her so invested in this campaign, she said “Because I love people. I’m a people person. It hit home. Carson can overcome what he came through, showing that anyone can overcome anything. He’s the man!”
Angie says her favorite thing about Hunt 2 Heal is “Helping the people that have disabilities in their mind and body to be able to live like we can.”
