Brooke Peckham Honored as a 2024 Women at the Wheel

Congratulations to Brooke Peckham, Human Resources Manager at Auto-Wares Group of Companies, as she is honored as one of AMN’s 2024 Women at The Wheel!

Each year, aftermarketNews (AMN) in collaboration with Babcox Media, presents a new class of Women at the Wheel. This year, 26 women were chosen for the incredible honor. These are women who are truly making a difference in the automotive aftermarket.

Brooke exemplifies everything that Women at the Wheel stands for. As a leader in our Human Resources department and at Auto-Wares, she continually enhances her involvement in our industry through YANG and Women in Auto Care. Her Women at the Wheel nomination is well deserved and is sure to be one of many accolades she will earn in her bright future.

Aaron Roach, Director of Human Resources, Auto-Wares Group of Companies

The mission of Women at the Wheel is to recognize women who are leading, influencing, and thriving in what historically has been a male-dominated field. The nomination process is open to women who work at all levels of the aftermarket, from the boardroom to the breakroom. Whether they’re on the manufacturing side, repair side, or the distribution side of the business, the automotive aftermarket is stronger because of their involvement in it.

A Few Words From Brooke:

“This year, 2024, marks my 10th anniversary with Auto-Wares. When I joined the company in 2014 as a warehouse stocker, I never imagined I would fall in love with the aftermarket industry and change my degree to Human Resources. I often tell others, that it’s not just Human Resources that I love, but specifically Human Resources within the automotive aftermarket. This industry is truly unique. We are all connected; we are a family.

My goal is to engage students in the aftermarket, so they too can pursue promising and rewarding careers. With over 125 career options, this industry offers something for everyone. Through our Internship Program, Tuition Reimbursement, the Northwood Partnership, and access to various scholarship opportunities, we can help students achieve their educational goals at minimal cost.

It is our responsibility to inspire the next generation, just as my supervisor and mentor, Aaron Roach, inspired me. I hope to support and uplift others in their personal pursuits. I am excited to see what the future holds for Auto-Wares and this incredible industry!”
